STORY

David Bilyeu, a Baton Rouge native with a passion for cooking (and eating), decided after many years in the corporate world to bid adieu to his career and pursue his culinary dreams. David poured his passion, professionalism, and Louisiana roots into the birth of Bayou Catering, a full-service catering company that marries outstanding Cajun, Caribbean, and Coastal food with personable service.

 

Built on more than 10 years of success in his catering business and paying homage to the Cajun and Creole markets of Baton Rouge, David expanded his dream with the opening of Bayou Market & Cafe.

The

Market

Bayou's popular menu choices (fresh or frozen) to "take and bake". We will also have Catering To Go or Full Service Catering through Bayou Catering, for any occasion. The Market will host local beers and quality wines to "grab and go".

Daily/weekly specials for lunch & dinner, served cafeteria style - to include Cajun, Caribbean, Traditional, as well as vegetarian options. Other lunch and dinner options to include Bayou's Signature Sandwiches, Cubans, Soups, and Salads.
